Terms of Use

Last updated November 6, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and BrokeChef ("we", "us") for the BrokeChef app. By using BrokeChef you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What BrokeChef is

BrokeChef suggests weekly meal plans, recipes and grocery lists, and estimates what they'll cost. It's a planning tool, not professional advice.

Prices are estimates

Grocery prices change often and vary by store and location. Unless an item is marked as a live store price or as your own receipt price, prices are estimates. Your actual total may be different, and we aren't responsible for differences between estimated and actual prices. BrokeChef isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any store.

Food safety, allergies and health

We try to respect the diets and allergies you tell us, but recipes, including ones written by AI, can contain mistakes. Always check ingredient labels, especially for allergies, cook food to safe temperatures, and use your own judgment. BrokeChef doesn't give medical or nutrition advice. If you have a medical condition or a serious allergy, talk to a professional.

AI features

Some recipes, receipt and photo readings, and chat answers are produced by AI and can be wrong. Double-check anything important, like amounts, allergens and cooking times. Don't upload photos you don't have the right to share.
